With the correction of the hoses to my vacuum amplifier, I finally have full throttle acceleration when the second butterfly opens up.
Its slight, but now I can hear and feel it kick in.
Is there anything else that I can do to help this react even more?
It's getting there, but I know its not up to speed yet.
With my previous cars before the Porsche, carb cleaner usually helped this out.
Is the intake manifold worth taking apart and cleaning?
Would cleaning just the throttle valve housing be enough? _________________ 1978 924 95 mile daily driver.

I knew that positive thinking thing wouldn't work. |

Its not worth pulling the mainifold. Cleaning the throttlebody is a good idea but it is usually done to slove poor idleing problems. I doubt that varnish and build up will cause much restriction at WOT. I would also check your CIS preasures, and the injector delivery rate and spray pattern. _________________ 1981 924 NA
