My father was telling me about this "documentary" filmed by this guy in a Ferrari who was trying to get from one end Paris to the other AS FAST AS HE CAN! I was told this guy was flying through the streets and it was all illegal too. Does anyone know where I could get a copy on DVD?

Check bmwfilms.com.

You have the correct name, so you could also google it. The film is pretty incredible to watch.

since another link was posted. The following is the best quality one found. Size is very big (122MB) so you need cable or its kind.

http://www.gremlinnet.com/rendezvous.html

I like the rythme of up shifting and heel and toe of the down shifting.
(but, is it really ferrari? is it really over 100mph without any arrangement?)

Enjoy.

Check out this one too, a fast ride around Paris, 3-4 lanes, heavy traffic, 200 km/h, on a bike.

Great link - 15 min download on a cable modem. I was curious about "Rendevous" since seeing it in a catalog years ago. I'm disappointed though - once it became apparent what an a-hole the guy was, I wanted to see him run into a tree or better yet, a large piece of concrete. Sadly that didn't happen...
He was obviously speeding in places, but used that old cinema trick of mounting the camera low to the ground to exaggerate the effect.
