Pulled into a space in a car park, car alongside was pointing nose outward... driver got in and pulled out while having a damned good look at our old girl - shame they didn't look in front of them first or they'd have seen the car opposite reversing out of it's space! Yep, so busy looking a the red rocket that they drove straight into the other car!
Best bit was watching the person who had been next to us try to blame the other driver |

| I can relate to that ! had my 87 tempo parked next to my 924 in the garage . pulling the tempo out of the garage , I was watching closely , trying to avoid hitting the 924 (had parked too close) . was watching the right side so hard , I hit my left front fender on the garage door frame ,crunch .doh ! prior to this ,the tempo was in pristine condition, with 32k original miles . |

The attention un-nerves me a little at times, i do a 50+ mile commute to work every day but still only see another 924 maybe once a week, there's not many around this area... she's always polished up aswell so stands out even more... It's kinda nice to see people looking, you can see there's a degree of "what is it?" if they've never seen one before. But then the times come when we're walking back to the car from somewhere and kids are crawling all around her, i know they're just having a look but i get very edgy still wondering if looking would have become touching (read trying to steal/damage!)...
Why is it aswell, when you've got doors the size of a small European country, does some pleb always park as close as possible to you? There's times i need to be a contortionist (spelling?)to get into the car! |

I get that at work, people parking close to me but i have a handful of A4 sheets printed out in the glove box which i stick under peoples wipers saying " next time you park so close please leave a f**king tin opener so i can get into my car!"
