Having had my share of no start situation today I pulled the spark plugs, hmm. nice black oily ones, still wet so I have some fuel in there at least. Replaced them, still no go. Took out the voltmeter (never used it before) I measured things ala Haynes, and all the ignition wires have the double of resistance then they should (10-13 instead of 5-6). No problem , continued measuring, only the battery voltage is according to specs, but after plugging back the ignition control module she started right up. Looks like it was a loose connection there.
Maybe she have never read the factory manual nor Haynes, but this thing runs when there's some fuel and spark whatever it takes.
So I have something for the winter, going to replace those ignition wires and start hunting for factory spec values under the hood.
