The Weber t-body is a single big bore.

I don`t know the exact measurements, but it is plenty bigger than the stock double barrel t-bodies.

Theory is, a bigger bore means less restriction. So, you get more air into the cylinders. You can run richer, and pack in more of a "charge" into the cylinders. This means more power.

I haven`t seen any proof that this t-body does any good. Other than a few testemonials I`ve read here.

Its been said by some to have a somewhat improved throttle response. Peak gains are said to be non-existent, as is with almost all bolt-ons.

I also have not ever seen any "real" tests done with a Weber tb.

Best I can tell is that the larger throttle body yealds about 3-5 hp at best but you sould have better throttle response.

Is that so Roger [didnt I get you a pet cd]
Heres a testimonial [a short one]
Whats cool is you can get on the power band and with other mods
you can have some fun by opening it real fast it gives pretty quicke response.

Away from that I can see where right after my paint job
is done Im gonna [maybe] pull the motor and up th cp
[10-1] have the head checked for straightness figure if
I can set it up for quicke turn out from the machine shop
that would work..and while I waite [I doute it though]
replace the 1 st gear synchro 016z while there do them
all if they need it for me though its best if I buy a used
one for $300.00 and just take my time and install it
when its finished. The one I have is fine it just doesnt
like to go into 1st when rolling.

Hold on to the TB I got mine from Jpab in Indiana.
who should of kept it. I like it alot.

Thanks Joe, I do appreciate it but I never got it to work, oh well. I did get a whole bunch of reference and tech stuff though. I did not mean to make it sound like the larger throttle body was not worth it. I like the idea. Its just not a huge HP gain.
