Are you using Webers or Dellortos? I bought a pair of Weber DCOE carbs with a manifold, and they were pretty straightforward. You will need a low pressure fuel pump (4-7 psi) and a fuel pressure regulator in the line before the carbs. The pressure should be around 3-4 psi (at least for my Webers it was).

You will need to have them jetted if they aren't already. There is a great document online detailing this procedure, if someone can dig up the link, I misplaced it.

I set mine up as follows:

32mm Main Chokes
4.5 auxilliary
135 f34 Main Jets
185 Air corrector jets
f17 Emulsion tubes
55 f9 idle jets.

Once everything is mounted, turn the idle screws all the way in, and then back out 3/4 turn each. If you can start the car, then get ahold of a synchrometer (a little air flow guage with a rubber boot on it) and insert it into each of the air horns to make sure the barrels are drawing the same amount of air. If one carb is drawing more than the other, adjust the linkage to compensate.

You will need to be able to measure the Fuel/Air ratio with a meter in order to fine tune, but that should get you drivable. When you get it nice and smooth, go back to the exhaust pipe and put your hand in front of it. If there is "popping", turn the idle mix. screws out some more until the popping goes away.

Good Luck. I LOVE my Webers.

They are a set of dellorto's that came from a 924 off the car to me pretty much. But guy didn't know what pressure or anything? I have the perfomrance handbook for Delorto's from my VW. I am hoping they are already jetted. I will have to adjust a bit. To fit my motor. Which is a bit different than the one they came from. I know all about adjusting dual carbs from Motorcycles and my VW. Many thanks, If you find that link. I would appreciate it. And will let you kow if I have any trouble shooting to do.
