Any scoop can be installed without painting the hood. Just get a Gt racing one and then have a decent car painter color match the scoop to the hood.
As for fitting the RX 7 unit I a few photo's on my site

John I have a question is that a RX7 throttle body or a 931 series 2 throttle body, but it does look like it has spacers to move it out abit for the intercooler. _________________ 3 928s, |

No it's a series II throttle body - I think it had a spacer - I know the guy who owns the car had changed the gaskets on the inlet (head to manifold)to a 6mm insulating type of material so he might have put this on the throttle body. _________________ Remember a Porsche is not just for Christmas,
