Can someone tell me phyiscally wich TPS switch is Full, acceleration, and idle. On my 81 924 there are three TPS. One on top of the throttle body two below the throttle body. I will call them front and rear. I am almost positive that the front one is Full, the other two I am not sure of. It appears that my car was wired for the poteinionmeeter style TPS that was used on the Turbo. My car however has the three switches. It seems this was done at the factory. So even though I can identify the wires I cant be sure they are connected to the correct TPS. It is my guess that Idle sould be on top of the throttle body and acceleration should be the rear one below the throttle body.

The top one is the first to engage as the throttle moves. The next is the front one I think that engages slightly after the throttle is opened. Then the last is just before the throttle goes full throttle.

So top is idle, bottom rear is acceleration, and bottom front is WOT?

That is what I suspect. I know top is definately idle.
Then I am going from memory on the other two.
I know the 1980 I have has the outside one as the WOT position.

So I would assume that the later 1982 just tacked on the idle position one. I do not recall if it changed since I had to re-arrange the ones on my 1982 when I put on the VW throttle body.

The top switch is acceleration enrichment.
Looking into the throttle body, the left switch is acceleration enrichment and idle stabilization, and the right switch is the full throttle switch.

Thanks Jon

It makes sense to me and I belive the wiring for the TPS is correct. I was thinking idle, acceleration, and full. I was also thinking that they would have to triger in that order.

With the earlier explanation about the angle of throttle movement and the O2 sessor controling the fuel mixture that you posted this makes sense now. When I realized that they are acceleration enrichment controls, and they dont operate like idle, acceleration, and full switches would.
