the print page key may also be indicated as the PrntSrn (Print Screen) key.
You can also download software that does it for you without all of the cut, copy, paste. Try searching download.com for "take screenshot" or "screen capture". That should get you some results. _________________ '80 931 FOR SALE

Using the "PrintScreen" key by itself or the "Shift-PrintScreen" or "Control-PrintScreen" key combinations will put an image of your entire screen onto the system clipboard. From there you can paste it into your favorite image manipulation software. I believe in order to post it on a web page, you'll need to save the image in either '.jpg' or '.gif' formats. Newer browsers are supporting more file formats, but I think for the time being those are the two you need to target.
You can save an image of just the window currently in-focus by using the "Alt-PrintScreen" key combination. If the window currently in focus is a child of an MDI program, the image saved will be the parent and all it's children, not just the in-focus child window.
There is plenty of 3rd party software, free, share and retail that will do screen capture and subsequent image manipulation. _________________ '79 Eurospec 931 |
