I found a wire that appears to be broken off of the connector to the DTIC. Does anyone have the pinout for the connector so I can find out what pin to solder it to?
Thanks,
Darin Flynn

| Do different years cars have different colored wires in the 12 pin connector? because I pulled it apart and some of the wires were different colors than that post says.. all of them are the same except the green(tach I think) wire isnt there and there is a brown/red wire in there which isn't listed. |

Is this the 81 you just bought from me? Look in the factory manuals I gave you. Also I can foward you a 4 page wiring diagram of the engine electricals.

I justed looked at my wiring diagram of the 81 turbo and the wires to/from the DITC are as follows:
Pin 3 grn/wht (to transistor ingition unit)
Pin 7 brn/wht (to transistor ingition unit)
Pin 11 blk (connected to fuel pump relay)
Pin 12 brn and brn/red (this wire goes to the air intake temp sensor) I replaced this device this year thinking that what was causing the hunting idle)
Pin 9 brn/black (to one side of the air intake temp switch)
Pin 5 wht/blu (to throttle switch)
Pin 13 blk (to pulse generator)
Pin 14 yel (to pulse generator)
Pin 15 ground sheild for pulse generator

Under the front cross member there is a black single wire plug that goes to the Oxygen Sensor. Disconnect that and see if the idle on the car hunts.
I do have a sensor tester that I have hooked up to it and it tested fine. However after the idle problem I retested the sensor and did not get a correct reading, maybe due to the broken wire.
Let me know.
