| In the Porsche 931 shop manual, it says the oil pressure should be "up to appx 6 bar" at 5000 rpm. When I rev my motor to 5000 rpm, I get a reading of just over 7 bar. Is this a big problem? |

it could mean the oil is alittle thicker, the engine isn't at operating temp, or the crank case beather is alittle plugged _________________ 3 928s, |

| Yea, the car wasnt at operating temperature. It was sitting idle for about 5 minutes, but thats probably why. I may as well check the crankcase breather too just incase. |

tsk tsk tsk, reving the engine that high when oil not at proper temp can cause damage to the turbo, engine and works, also you only want to run the engine up to that RPM with a load on the engine, IE IN GEAR _________________ 3 928s, |
