Well I got the clutch adjusted and lubed the throwout bearing shaft and clutch linkage. No more grinding going into revearse and the clutch is alot easier to press now.
I got the seal to fix the fuel leak. Now I'm dreading having to drain the fuel tank to replace the seal.
I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do about the starter cable. I don't know if I'm going to insulate an aftermarket one or splice in the good section off a battery cable from my parts car that goes down to the starter. Then hope it doesn't short out again.
I might get to drive it by the end of the week:) |

I would not recommend splicing such large cables. I would recommend, and have myself done so, replacing the cable in its entirety with a big long all-new cable from your local generic parts store. You can even just go to NAPA and get a X foot long starter cable with terminals. Then all you'll need to do is replace the three small lug end connectors that also attach to the positive terminal at the battery. _________________ Vaughan Scott
