OK, here's the situation,
The electric sunroof on my 86 924S goes up and down without fail, it won't however always release so that I can remove it.
If the car has stood overnight then 75% of the time it will release, but by the time I've driven 10 minutes to work it won't.
My first thought was the imobiliser, but I've tried releasing it with or without the imobiliser acivated and the result is the same.
I've tried adjusting no 2 limit switch etc but that has made no difference, and I don't think it's a faulty switch as sometimes it will work. I'm thinking possibly a dodgy earth connection somewhere that is being bridged by condensation after the car has stood overnight but which then shakes or dries out over the day.
Any ideas where the earth points might be??
tia
