besides the suspensino on my car everyhting runs great. The city I live in has terrible streets and my car rides and sounds like. Basically I'm replacing the springs, shocks, and most bushings and anything else, regardless of whether it necessarily needs it. My question is, in order of effectiveness (degree of change), whats the most important to least important suspension parts to have attention paid to them?

On an S I would say the basic approach is shocks all around, and a complete front rebush, including sway bar bushings. After that is done, reassess.

If you are positive you want stiffer springs, I would skip the cheap (and oh so tempting) Weltmeister springs and go straight to a coilover sleeve setup. This will give you maximum flexibility for spring swapping down the road, and adjustable front ride height.

While you are under the rear, use the spring plate eccentrics to drop the back end as far as possible.

If you are a complete masochist, there are options to stiffen the rear spring rate. . .many being painful.

That's kind of what i figured...shocks first. I don't really know that much about the different brands. Bilstein, Koni, etc? I'm leaning towards the Bilsteins that Pelican sells, but OEM Koni's are an option too.

I got Bilsteins at Allshocks.com for my 931. They totally improved the handling, but the ride is a bit harsh. . .might not be what you are looking for if you have bad roads.
