If you have an ADT home security system keep reading. If someone came to your door and gave you a system post a reply. Those door to door knockers have self renewing contracts and they are very tough to get out of. I will tell you how to get out of it. I must tell you that I work for ADT and this won't help me in any way, I just don't want you guys to get burned. They Lynx is a great system and ADT is very respectable, but their contracts are made by the devil and if you want out someday post a reply.

Seems great, although nothing beats grass for football! Get an extra 10 years of life in my knees with it. Ever have turf toe? Damn painful. I would rather slip on wet grass and tear my NCL again.

Here goes. If you sign up at the door you are in a three year contract. When the second year starts you have 15 days to state in writing that you no longer want the service. That letter has to end up on the desk in that 15 day period. If not another two years will be added to your contract. And when the second year starts in that contract you have another 15 days. And so on and so forth. It is about $35 a month tax inc. depending on where you live and any extra equipment you buy. If you just stop paying in hopes ADT will forget about you, be prepared to have poor credit. ADT will ruin your credit, put you in collections and hire hitmen to get their money. Still they are a good company with great products, just pay them on time and you will be fine.
P.S. if you have a problem with your system ask me or call the 1 800 number.
P.P.S. Door to door "promotion" reps get at least $100 per deal. Very good reps can get $ 160 per deal plus bonuses, gifts, trips, cars. So don't feel bad if they knock on your door and they are soaked from rain or sweat. {because they will probably use that to get in the door out of the rain or heat!}

WDB, cool! How many trips under the knife? I'm at seven and counting. ACL, MLL, PLL, No pads left in the r/h, tibial ostyotemy (to forgo a replacement at 22 y/o) plus assorted orothroscopics( Left and right), Broken thumbs and dislocated #1 and #2 thoratic vertebrea (1/2 crack in #1) and 2 ruptured discs in the lumbar, 3 reconstructive nose surgeries because of broken face masks and no turf toe. (one knee was blown on the 20 yd line of the Dome where the floor drain gives about a 1/4in trip into the endzone. This car reminds me of my youth so long ago....all for the wonderful chance to do it again in college....

Damn bro! What the hell happened to you! I broke both my thumbs at the same time. Open wheel cars on an oval, went in to turn 3 hot, thought I was a superstar so I kept my foot in it. Just as I was about to clear the wall the rear slides up tags it forcing the front to do the same and with my hands as fists {thumbs on the inside of the wheel} the wheels go from left to right instantly and crunch. Took me a while to pour, lift and drink a glass of water. Not very painful buy very humiliating. O, and WDB's post is my post from another topic although NCL is ACL I was too lazy to correct it then and look at me now I'm still writing about how it was a lazy mistake.

as far as youthful exuberance , an recklace behavior , oh man , repeatedly fractured both knee caps (football ), repeatedly deviated septum, (footbal,fighting,car wrecks ,) on exrays my septum looks like a wave pattern .my nose looks straight, but if I look up you can see 1 nostril is much smaller than the other , ever so slightly leaning to one side . broke my back in a diving accident , fratured the 5th lumbar , broke a chunk off the 4th, dove off the second story balcony into shallow water , I didnt hit the bottom . knowing it was shallow I arched my back thinking I would pull a high G manuever and pull up , well when my chest hit the water, the wieght of my legs bent me in half the wrong way(my foot hit me in the back of my head) . I though I just wrenched my back and didnt go to the hospital , it wasnt until 2 years later ,at a pre employment physical that the doctor asked me when I broke my back .seems the exrays dont lie . fell asleep driving and hit a utility pole at about 30 MPH,broke my nose again , my right middle finger at the knuckle (ya know that fluffy white stuff they put under cast,careful lighting that home roled cigerette ),loosened my front teeth on the steering wheel ,had about a million slivers of glass in the top of my head (they shaved only the top of my head,left the rest long,the ultimate mullet ).hit by a car, did 2 cart whells and landed on my head ,10 stiches ,(of hundreds of stiches ) oh yeah ,numerous concusions . one of many street fights ,tried to be a peace maker at a party , some assh*le pulls a knife and cuts me across my left bicept and down my left side , he left the party, unconcious and bleeding with a broken arm (aluminum baseball bat), and converse writen all over his face .I had home field advantage what was the question again Oh yeah , a few miles from Manhattan NYC. probably isnt the best place to raise children . I wont go into the tree behind my house, the bike races , skate boards , or sledding . and , and , and,
