A thing to keep in mind when deciding. Plastics (some of them) can suffer from wear problems, in a big way, mainly the front a-arm bushings, when used. This in comparison to spherical or stock rubber. Of course, spherical is expensive, and rubber is only good for street only. I have both; spherical on the racecar, rubber on the turbo for the street.
From what I understand, the bolt up front wears through the plastic bushing. I think the rubber bushing has a steel liner to avoid this. Of course, the obvious and still inexpensive solution is to just pop the steel liners out of the old rubbers and into the new plastics (after boring out the plastic pieces to suit).
Unfortunately, I do not yet know of a source for plastic bushings for the rear trailing arms. I think Paragon and/or 944Racing.com may be working on them. To date, the only answer for those I currently know of is the Racer's Edge Spherical inserts I just got. _________________ Vaughan Scott
