I have the old 8-spoke 4-lug wheels on my 924 and I just think they look funny, too plain I mean.
Do you think if I painted them gloss Black and put some new Chrome beauty rings on them then they would look cool? The car is freshly painted Candy Red. If I had the money I would go out and buy some new custom wheels but way to expensive for me right now.

Forget the cheesy chrome rings; either paint them solid gloss black (which would look nice) or have the lips polished, like the 944 cookie cutters or the Fuchs wheels.
