Do Audi 100 mounts fit the 924 transaxle?

Hi Folks... I'll be removing the transaxle on my '79 NA this week to get at the fuel tank and so am starting to think about the likelihood of needing to replace the mounts.

I've heard rumours that Audi 100 mounts could fit with some fettling. Obviously, the price difference makes this a very attractive prospect. Does anyone have any good intel on this?
