That 100+ HP / 100+ tq. is at the rearwheels!!... and it has been done from just a mild grind cam, headers, no cat and straight pipe back (special custom two exaust system made... could make some power? but didn't dyno until after this exaust was put on), Jacobs ignition, _TLC_, make sure to get your fuel system checked out for its mixture and the timing of everything is good.. you can make a huge difference if something is off--- and don't let anyone tell you that a set of carbs is going to make a huge difference... the CIS system can handle twice the hp output that the Porsche comes with stock with no problems (this is coming from a Bosch book I have been studing extreamly hard for the past 8 months), early (pre 77.5) ignition distributor (more final advance), port & pollish (this is very important! the dyno from just the flow test alone was a significant increase of cubic flow per minute!!), modification of vacumm system (I studied it very well), and a simple fact- if it's not making your Porsche go faster-get it off the engine!. The car is still stock with the 8.5:1 pistons!! I am going to rebuild another one of my engines sometime with something really good- I have a few blocks... one with 9:1 pistons that I could just slap in... but no time.. I have owned a bunch of 924's and am now down to my good one and my stock one.. my stock one has 9:1 pistons and with a little TLC it is putting out a little more power. I gave one of my 924's to a friend, and he is going to put a cam in it this year. I am very satisfied with the power I have from the modifications- still strong power at the lower end, but does it pull hard when my friend and I are drag racing and my 50-70 is around 3.9 to 4.0 right now... I am looking at putting custom gears in the thing and do some good magic tricks to it. I've been pulling 14.9's in the 1/4 mile...

Ohh, BTW: I also put an audi 5000 throttle body on the car. It _will_not_ make any difference unless you have some good mods on the car; I put it on a couple stock 924s with no difference. With some good mods you will have a little more pull- but be sure to completely rebuild a throttle body unit before putting it in your car if it is used otherwise you will find it leaks or sticks or has some sorta problem...

BTW: (again) that is not an increase of 100 hp if that is what you meant.. Just 100+ measured hp.
