I have been fighting a never ending battle against the brakes and I finally have it down to a couple parts. That being said they are impossible to find and the ones I do find are like 1,300. I need a left and right caliper as they both don't work at all. They still don't work despite all new seals and a thorough cleaning.
The parts from the PET are 477615107 for the Left and 477615108 for the Right. Any help would be massively appreciated.
Malcolm

Just put a WTB in the for sale/wanted section. But first make sure the master cylinder is working. A couple of the scrappers have quit the 924 and Auto Atlanta can have some crazy prices and not very reliable service. I've always done ok with DC Auto. I have a pair of my '78 that will need rebuilt I'd be happy to get $30 each for, but won't get home until early January.

That's a good idea thanks Mike, and so far these calipers are about the only thing not refreshed or replaced. New booster and master cylinder along with new brake lines, rotors, pads, and hardware. I think I found one oem replacement for about 215$ at RosePassion said they would rebuild the other side because they don't have a new one in stock. As long as the pistons are in good condition I am game.

When I search the large auto suppliers here in europe, like Autodoc, they are availible new for about €70.

If you could send a link to something in stock I would pay you. I just
checked auto doc and I couldn’t find anything in stock. Is there other popular European parts sites that I could check. I’ve exhausted about all the websites on this side of the pond.

I was wrong on that, they are all out of stock! Sorry!
They have rebuild kits, piston and seals.

Just seen an eggplant color 924 being shown at a junkyard in LA (facebook post on 924 owners or 924 group), its probably a later model, not an early 76 or so but the the calipers should be the same.
Have a look, maybe its what you're after.

So curious when you say "don't work" they leak? they don't clamp down to stop the car? they don't release?

Calipers are pretty simple, I am not at all saying they can't be finicky, but most can be rebuilt as long as the pistons aren't corroded and you get the ring the seal goes in clean and the brake hoses aren't collapsed should work.

Are you sure you are getting fluid to the calipers? Newly rebuilt systems can behave strangely until fully bled.

here you go.... yall need to learn to sleuth harder. this took ten seconds.

they only list one side. i have in the past used the a left on a right. you can unbolt the caliper and flip it upside down with a piece of wood in between the pads and bleed it. reinstall. all done. or if you wanna be fancy just drill a small hole where the bleeder would be. then a larger one and countersink it to then thread it for a bleeder. but doing it upside down works fine.
