If those work with my 924 disc brake setup, I'd definitely put them on for easy weight balancing. I ran something similar on my 911 race car but they looked a bit different.
A possible issue is that the big bolt/nut combo is right at the inner tire wall.
Anyone tried them on their cars? _________________ 1979 924 NA race car H-Prod SCCA

If you are planning on pulling and re indexing the torsion bars you may need to cut some holes on your sills. Like the idea of easier spring plate adjustment, but it needs to be adjustable with the tyres on the car when corner weighting _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

The vertical bolt is the weight jacking adjustment. Set your car on scales and use that bolt to adjust ride height/corner weight.
Index it once when you change the torsion bar and then fine tune weight with the vertical bolt. _________________ 1979 924 NA race car H-Prod SCCA

A little bit over the top to have those expensive quick change bars and spring plates. Could get you a nice set of coil overs
When i installed my 28mm bars I just set the correct height and never had i appart since. the ride hide adjustment on the stock arms are large enough for me. Although its a bit of a pain to work with, this adjuster looks much easier. _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

Agreed. But I'm not allowed to run coil overs in the rear where my car is classed. Also agree that a proper index initially and the factory adjusters does presently work for me - but it's a pain to adjust them. _________________ 1979 924 NA race car H-Prod SCCA

+1
Also, how do you release the pre-load tension?
Why would you need to change your torsion bars so often that you would need this? _________________ 1976 924 N/A ROW SOLD

Racing only changing ride height and chassis stiffness for differing tracks......
For fast road and track days you tend to fit and forget until the next chassis check over, realignment and corner weighting session. That was 4yrs ago for me and urgently needed again. _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

As long as you also have front coil over to allow you to quickly adjust the front as well.

That is the part that worry me, my limited understanding of suspension set up tells me that the front spring rate needs to match the rear spring rate. So you would need to change the front coil as well; why would you this at the track?
I still don't see how you would release the pre-load on the torsion bar?
Not trying to start an argument, just trying to understand. _________________ 1976 924 N/A ROW SOLD

I don't find a meaningful reason to change them; put in the stiffest you can get and rock out. We run 36's IIRC - it has been maybe 18 years since I put 'em in there.
As for setup - that needs to be AT LEAST yearly. We'd check every weekend or two on the 924 (the prototype gets it EVERY time)... _________________ Vaughan Scott

To change spring balance the adjustable anti sway bar is there for you, and it works sooo good, and its takes 5min to do an adjustment. Then you can dial in perfect balance regardless of tyres, track condition etc
Setting corner balance on the other hand, massive pain in the bum with the std stuff, but it is at least possible. We should be grateful that we have fully adjustable rear and front suspension, its a rare sight _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

I do have coil overs in the front and have changed springs several times to dial in the handling. As Vaughan says, I have the biggest MFers I could find in the rear, installed once. Different tracks require ride height changes (such as a high speed banked oval - e.g. needing higher right side at Charlotte). _________________ 1979 924 NA race car H-Prod SCCA

Ride height changes not torsion bar swaps. Its easy to reindex ride height trackside.........using torsion bars and coilovers _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife
