|
|
So I'm getting ready to install the fuel tank and I noticed this piece of foam running across the rear cross-member.
Here's a picture of the foam and a piece of Neoprene Rubber.
So can I use the neoprene rubber to replace the foam or do you think it's going to be too stiff? Should I find a piece of fuel safe foam instead? What have you done to replace this piece?

I would think the rubber would be better. The foam may absorb water. _________________ 78 924 |

I'm with Brian, Porsche used what was cheap and available, doesn't mean it was the best product for the job.
