1982 924.Laid up in garage for 5 years then fuel lift pump and relay packed up. Now it appears to flood itself when I attempt to start it. Yes I have checked cold start injector and bimetallic valve operation. It has excellent spark even when plugs soaked! desperate stuff.

Check your fuel distributor flap for travel and hanging..There may be a varnish ring on the plunger inside the unit. Pull an injector, and check it to see if it dribbles fuel after you crank the motor.
