One of my favourite quotes from the British TV show 'Bromwell High'. And...one I could use to describe my last 3 weeks in Europe. Good times.

Spent a week in Nuremberg at a trade show. Meh, seen one MG-42 (Nazis), seen 'em all. Followed that with a drive into Czech Republic for a week of beer, svickova and insanely hot women (porn), nice.

I then split from my partner and his missus in Zlin (southern Czech Rep.) to drive 700km one way across southern Czech, Slovakia and Hungary, (dodging suicidal Bulgarian truckers the whole way (sharks)), and finally ending up in Arad, Romania.

Why the hell would I do this you ask ?

To hang for few days with one of the 'Board's more remote members would be the answer.

We went for a pretty good rip in the silver / blue Turbo. Having never driven in a proper Euro 931 before I will attest, they are way quicker than the ones we get in N. America. Way. That little bit more oompf makes all the difference, wish I had one.

Nothing says a good trip like seeing the area from a local's perspective and I got just that, and more, in spades. Beautiful little town, nice people and world class hospitality.
