Hi all,
I have an '82 924 that is having some issues getting a spark. The mechanic who is working on it replaced the ignition distributor, and the following text is what he describes is now happening:
"I now have spark at the distributor when I turn ignition on and remove distributor from the head while spinning the distributor by hand. As soon as I put the distributor back in and try to start with the key turning the engine with the starter, the spark is lost. I am now chasing possible back feed issues."
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! _________________ 1982 Porsche 924 ROW |

Mechanic fixed it, finally running! To anyone who has this problem in the future, my ignition distributor was bad and most of the grounds in the engine bay were too corroded to actually ground. Both of those issues caused a no spark situation. Now onto other issues! _________________ 1982 Porsche 924 ROW |
