| So if you have read my previous posts I have had ignition control issues and while I source all the parts to rebuild the two burned up ones I bought another that has been tested on a running car. Problem is car still has spark issues. Will light off a couple of strong sparks then right to very weak fire. Let it set a few minutes and same scenario occurs. All resistor wires have checked out. New coil, cap, rotor, plugs have been installed. Thinking it might be a ground issue somewhere but looking for suggestions from anyone that has dealt with a similar issue |

| Ozzie, thanks for the input. I have thought that as well. I tried grounding it directly back to the battery no change though. |

I had a lot of ignition problems including wrong rotor and coil fitted, and the transistor unit not earthed, all PO bodges.
I ran an earth from the cluster near the headlight to the mounting screw on the unit. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA
