Problem: fuel pump relay (for 78 924) p/n # 477 906 059 is no longer available.
Any suggestions? Porsche has the 79 and up ones in country.
I need a relay, what are the options?
Thanks in advance! |

Ask where you order the parts if they are compatible. They should know.
You can have the old relay rebuilt by an oldschool electronics shop. I have two turbo relays rebuilt. You can also do a hack and use a normal relay but in case of an accident the pump will still run even if the engine dies...thats a hazard. Also if you do this hack as long as the key is turned the pump will run forever regardless if the engine is working or not. I have this on both my cars since original turbo relays are also impossible to find. _________________ Supercharger and EFI kits

Yeah I use the same relay. Keep on eye on ebay as the poster suggested. Junkyards, craigslist ads or on this board, people parting out 77-78's. _________________ 78 924 |
