Ok, perhaps I have missed the information pertaining to posting pictures. Do I need to have a photobucket account or something?

You can upload your image to Photobucket or anywhere else that you want. Then get the hyperlink to that image (right click on the image and go to properties) then click the IMG button above this window to open the image tag, then paste the hyperlink that you just copied, then click the IMG button again to close the image tag.

see sample below

Please don't use Photobucket or we'll all get to look at this image in 6 months or so.

Imgur.com is more stable and easier to use in my opinion since it's made to quickly host and share pictures.

Well there're two picture based threads in just this forum alone that have the photo bucket failure image (the kitty is the new one without their logo because this happens all the time).

I used to have Imageshack, but they have changed their business, so you need to pay every month to have pictures there. I do not want to have a such a subscription, that can go on forever. So, by not wanting to pay, the pictures that are hosted at them already, are close to useless. You will see that in the beginning of my 6 cyl build thread. They are not being re-sized, as they were in the beginning. So you need to scroll up/down and sideways, quite annoying...

I've had a webhotel for a long time, for my website, so I have started uploading re-sized pictures into a folder, and linking to them instead. Should have done that earlier.

Edit: just checked my build thread. The pictures from Imageshack are all gone now(but I have backup).....

So I do miss the full car. But there was a noticeable difference in performance by making the car several hundred pounds lighter and bumping the engine to about 200hp.

"Wilson" became my do-everything car. Recently I sold most of the go fast stuff from Wilson. Engine is now stock. Just a stock 944 with a welded in roll bar, gutted & racing buckets. Full heater and a/c for comfort though.

I am looking at probably selling Wilson. But not impressed with a stock 924 heater. How can I improve the stock heater without butchering the 924? Can I spin the fan faster... or...? I live in Canada and it can get chilly! ANY SUGGESTIONS on improving the little gutless 924 heater without sheetmetal modifications will be happily received by yours truly.

Big thanks to Power Tryp & Glenn & Tanya for the great help. Now The 2 tone 924 has not only a torque tube but also 5 speed trans & shifter that is usable.

The 5 speed is the same as the 4 speed in terms of drive shaft compatibility. Also have a new bellhousing. Who knows maybe we have Ol' Gramps on the road in a couple of weeks.

Not only beautiful but also po-lice free. Best trip ever I drove from Hinton ,Alberta to my house in Vancouver in 7 hours, 10 minutes flat. It was the most epic trip through Jasper and Mount Robson National Parks at 180 kph. It really is a Porsches natural habitat.
