Hello All. Brake pad question... I just fit a set of Textar disc brake pads on my 87' 924S, (standard calipers), and observed the cut out on the back side of the pads, (side away from the rotor), does not line up or fit the raised alignment "ridge" on the floating portion of the caliper. I seem to recall the set I removed did fit over the "ridge" and helped locate and align the pads. Has anyone else experienced this? Perhaps I purchased the wrong set of pads? The part number is correct, (94435195102), and the brake pad number on the pad, (726348), checks out as well. I no longer have the old pads so I can't compare. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
