I can't find any data on how te check/ measure the wear limits of the oil pump, anybody knows this ? _________________ 937 trackday car
Series 2 engine
951S turbo and intercooler
Fast road camshaft
Forge recirculation valve + boost controller

Get the endplate resurfaced. They normally clean-up after machining a couple of thou off (0.050mm).

Tolerances for everything are in the FSM which I don't have with me at the moment.
I think I checked the gear tolerances with feeler gauges. _________________ 1979 UK 932 |

Just found it:
Oil pump:
Casing/gear wheels Axial play 0.03 - 0.07
Gearwheels Backlash of teeth 0 - 0.13
distance between casing and gears is hard the measure I think.
Backlash is the distance between the teeth of the gears I asume ? _________________ 937 trackday car
