I don't post a lot on here, but I do drop in from time to time to get ideas and seek input on various ways of doing things. We built this car a year and a half ago and have learned a whole lot of things since. This car runs a rebuilt stock turbo engine, microsquirt injection, and a G31 transmission.
After a year of trying and a handful of disappointing DNF's (including one spectacular fire from a split oil line), our 924Turbo was able to stay together and hold on to a class victory (B Class) and 5th overall at this past weekend's 24hr Lemons race at The Ridge (PacNW).

Quick Race Recap:
With 12mins left...car in first for our class was 2 laps up on us and blows their engine on the front straight. Our car was limping...trans shot, brakes spongy, engine missing. Those last 30mins were painful. The 2nd place car was 1/2 lap behind and gaining at about 5 secs per lap...we had to pace laps just right to ensure he couldn't catch up.
Many thanks to Stefan and Dan Beckett (Ideola) for all their advice and support.

Congratulations, good job and a lot of hard work! Turbos are hard enough to race, let alone at LeMons! _________________ Vaughan Scott

I just don't understand wasting all that effort on LeMons endurance racing when you could just build a WEC car. _________________ Toofah King Bad
