Ok let me start off by Saying im not the best at this whole forum thing. So try and bare with me on this one. Ive been trying to fix this 1987 924s N/A and I came across a few wires that had been chewed up pretty good. The wires come off the fuel injectors and run down along the back of the motor. I would like to replace this part but cant find it anywhere, also I need a little help on how to replace the speedo wire! Any help would be greatly appreciated. _________________ 1987 924s 2.5 no turbo |

Are you saying that none of the many suppliers carry the part? What did Pelican parts say when you called them? Maybe this diagram can help you identify the part(s) that you are having a problem with. Once you do that you can order the part from one of many suppliers. Or post a pic here of the part you are looking for.
And I found a thread that might help you with the speedo cable replacement.

Hope this helps. _________________ MOD

You will either need to repair the section or cut it out entirely and replace it with a one from another harness.
Here is a photo where I replaced a bad injector section with a good one.
As for wiring; it is very basic. Injectors 1/2 and 3/4 share ground wires. If you look at the photo, you can see that the lower injector section shows the (gray) ground wires merge into a single wire (at the heatshrink) that runs to the DME.
The positive wires all combine into a larger wire just before the firewall that connects to the DME relay.
I hope this helps! _________________ '84 944 -White, Brown interior
