|
|
We finally got our '78 924 back on the road and I was wondering if there is a way to adjust when the brake lights come on when the pedal is pushed. You have to hit the pedal pretty had to get them to light up and I would like to keep from getting rear ended. I looked in both the Haynes and Clymer books and no luck.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

There is an adjustment on the pedal itself to adjust the height of the pedal.
Make sure your rear drums are adjusted properly to reduce pedal throw.
Ensure that your fluid is fresh and properly bled as the switches are pressure based (mounted on the master itself).
You could have bad or sticky switches due to age and sitting. You could try pulling them and soaking them in fresh fluid and physically moving them to try and free them up. _________________ Stefan
