1. When using the Stage 8 locking bolts on the half shafts should the 2 hole clamp plates be under the bolts or deleted. It looks like there would be a better seal under that thin metal cover with them.

2. I assume an oil temperature sender should be upstream of the remote filter. The remote filter found a nice home in the headlight well,obviously the headlights are gone. I'll find out as I start the very expensive cooler plumbing nightmare.

Another thing I found, when using a 951 radiator, the main hoses are nominal 1-1/2" vs the 1-1/4" standard of the 924. Pegasus Racing has silicone reducers(all sizes) and aluminum connectors, not cheap but available.

Use all of the original hardware on the CV joints except for the bolts themselves.

Oil temp sender is best in the oil pan. On a couple of NAs, I've used the extra port that is normally for the 931 air-oil-separator return line; on a couple of 931s, I've drilled and tapped the drain plug.
