My injectors when the machine stands still freezes, I must remove and clean them with the compressor, they are to be replaced or I can restore them?
I tried clean with Svitol or Fuel but nothing change. |

Leave them in a bath of Fuel Injector Cleaner (not the cheap one…) for a night.
Before giving them an Ultrasonic bath (try a dealership or engine rebuilder ect. local to you) …try this:
<—This is NOT your injector, just an example.
Carefully try lifting the Pin/tip with small pliers and somehow get a strong thin line behind it so you're able to lift it from being shut by pulling. Now you'll be able to blow out any residu by applying compressed air in the opposite direction, so from the Pin up…
Try G00gle/Y0utube in Italian for more information.

Cant recall if I got the info from this website or not...but as above I could gently pull the pin out with some clean small pliers and then use thin uncoated copper wire with a twisted loop to hold the pin "out" that way I could soak with both ends open.
Also a bit ghetto but you may find a can of carb cleaner with the little hose attached will fit snug into the injector and will give enough pressure to blast through some cleaner and "may" give an idea of spray pattern.
I also tried a very high end jeweler's ring cleaner twice (these should vibrate any crap loose) but found it just made them very shiny looking.
Ultimately it was (age) and very fine pitting on the seat where the pin sits on the body that was the problem.
I just brought new Injectors and ended a month of grief. |
