Searched and can't find an answer.
Is there a good way to identify if my 1981 924 NA has a 75A Bosch or 90A Paris-Rhone without pulling it out of the car first? Mine is shot and I need to replace it, but I don't know what to order from the local parts house.
Side note: The price difference is pretty significant too. 90A is nearly 3X more than the 75A. _________________ 1981 Porsche 924 NA |

| I believe the 90a was meant for the turbocharged models. So as long as your running a stock system without a lot of accessories you should be fine using the 75 amp Bosch. if not I'd check some other stores to find a better price for a 90a Bosch. |

Bosch piece is more common and should have a BOSCH plate on it.
Reman 90A unit for your car is AL115x, which will work fine. The only snag is that the PR pulley may not fit the Bosch unit. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Thanks y'all. Preshadit (as we say in the south)
Think I'll just go for the 90A and get the pulley with it. _________________ 1981 Porsche 924 NA |
