|
|
Hi all Im removing the rear axle as part of my 924 refresh but a little stuck.
I have removed the 2 regular bolts and removed the sway bar droplink from the back of the camber bolt, and the nut on the front but the bolt itself is stuck solid. The plates wont separate so I cant remove the arm. I tried tapping a screw driver in to free it up but seems stuck solid.
Any tips to freeing them up?
In the pic below the camber bolt is removed but on mine its still in place and wont turn from the rear, or tap out from the front (didnt want to hit it too hard). I was thinking of putting some heat on it and trying to hit it out just.
Thanks for any pointers.

Did you loosen or remove the two bolts to the right of it? If so, take a big wrench and loosen it by going back and forth with it. And WD-40 or some other penetrating oil might help. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

Yes they are removed completely. One snapped ffs.
Hope to get another go at it this week I was wary of being too hard on it in case I was missing something. |
