I'm sorry, but what type of car is that dash from?
If I was going to update the one in my 924. I would use a late model 944 if I could. Just saying.

I am sure it will look good.

Hey, if you don't want people's opinion (negative, neutral or positive) then don't post it or if you do, don't get all bent about it.

Personally, I don't care, its your car do what you want. I'm not a fan, but then again the cracked dash thing sucks balls, so I'm all for thinking outside of the box. I'm thinking of using some foam filler and flocking to eventually resolve that issue on mine, but then again I kinda dig the look.

It would be an interesting mod, but to be honest I'm not sure it would be worth the time. However, I encourage you to defeat the naysayers and complete the mod and make it look awesome. It's your car and you should make it you're own.

My dash is extremely cracked and I've been looking at either fixing the one I have with bondo and repainting, or upgrading to a later one...

whoa, whoa, whoa. What is this, the rennlist? Give a brother a chance.

Anyway, it looks good mocked up, and as long as I'm not the guy trying to make it work, go for it. Is this for a street car? whatcha doing for gauges and HVAC?

And for the record I am happy with the 70's sh*t styling. That's why I bought an old car. Square dash for life!

it actually fits pretty well, I did a lot of looking around to find one that would work with out too much hassel.
All i have to do is make a couple sheetmetal brackets (just like factory!)
Had to cut half the front of it off, but no big deal. it was between this, an audi tt or late VW gti dash
I will tuck the stock ac controls down below and will use the fan speed where the RSX has the emergency blinker button (and use the RSX lighted fan speed knob)

I have really nice RPM gauge with digital speedo
and will ad addition gauges in the OE cluster location such as water temp, oil pressure etc.

Mike....I like the look.....I admire your energy.

Keep us posted how it turns out.

I'm just going to pull my old dash and pay $1000 to have it refurbished at "Just Dashes". I'm not a very creative person I'm afraid.
