This is the reason I buy stamps with flowers or birds on them...kind of puts me in a late 60's/early 70's frame of mind so then paying bills and taxes doesn't quite seem so bad !

You're mailing to 2 different p.o. boxes in Ohio, so one is a payment and the other is a refund?

There's only a 1 digit difference between those two PO boxes.

Tell me, is it common for Americans to put slashes through zeros? You don't seem to do it to sevens?

I think it is done to differentiate between the letter "O" and numeral "0". Probably people dealing internationally or those in the computer programming field.

jazz guy with honorable mention to TJC.

The non-sequitur was in reference to the "Freedom Forever" "Liberty Forever" "Justice Forever" on the stamps. Freedom, Liberty and Justice ain't free, and it seems like every year we pay more for less of each in this country.

Not to get political or anything.

(RE: the different PO Boxes for the IRS: one for 2013 tax payment, one for 2014 estimated tax payment. No refund. )
