What other cars have the same handbrake switch. Job for the weekend is to remove the drivers seat, grease runners so it actually moves, tighten the handbrake and see if the reason I can see a loose spade is because the handbrake switch is missing as no light comes on in dash ( though it could be a fuse or bulb or just no power).

PN 96861360100 is also used as a door switch in Porsche and the switch is listed in VW and Audi parts lists on US eBay.
In Australia this switch is sold on eBay by international sellers.
It's #5 in the image below of a 924 Hand Brake as listed in this link, even though sometimes it's not listed as an early 924 part on many sites.
However, the parking brake switch on my '79 924 looks more like the switch mentioned by kcoyle in the post above than those on this post's links to eBay. |
