I am in need of beige carpet for an '82 931. Does anyone have a nice set to sell. My driver (left) side is showing wear and needs replaced. I could use the passenger (left) side of a right hand drive car, those should be in good shape. I want German carpet and I want it moulded so there are no seams. I would love to find a N.O.S. set. I haven't been able to find the original material either, I can make a moulded set if I can. Any ideas?

If it's a need and not a want, a quick Google search shows a number of different sources for 924 molded carpet kits with German Silverknit or Finetuft Velour for either left or right-hand drive which run US$500 to US$900 plus shipping.

My car is actually left hand drive. A right hand drive car would have the left side that I need in good shape because it isn't used as much as the driver side. I have not seen any moulded set in the original style German carpet. The 924 is not sliverknit (911) or velour (944). All of the moulded sets I have seen are domestic ( U.S.) carpet which is cheap. The German sets are cut & sewn which show seams. I am trying for originality.

For example, see ideola's garage's offerings of German Carpet Kit sets from the Classic 9 Leather Shop on your other thread on this topic. Or is it that these sets don't match in some way the kind or color of carpet in your '82 931? If not, then your best bet is to watch for OEM carpet sold of Ebay which comes up from time to time.

Classic 9 doesn't offer a moulded German set. Their moulded set are domestic carpet and their German carpet (velour) is cut & sewn. Neither option is what I'm looking for. I was hoping someone would possibly have a good used set or the pieces I need. I would then be able to combine the sets to make one good original carpet set.
