Let me start by saying hello to everyone. I am a new Porsche owner and started out by diving head first into a restoration project. So far I love it. My question is did front adjustable coilovers come stock on a 1987 924s or was that an option? _________________ Life is hard. It's even harder when you're stupid. |

I believe that's the M030 option.
You can check for a sticker in hatch behind the carpet above the spare wheel area. _________________ 1982 931- Stock with MBC at 8psi
Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it. |

It doesn't show the M030 option, but it has AFW and C77 that I can't find a reference for anywhere. Those are the first two codes then it has several number codes that I have found what they stand for. _________________ Life is hard. It's even harder when you're stupid. |

AFAIK, *adjustable* coil overs were never an option nor standard on the 924s.
Came with your run-o-the-mill mcpherson struts. |

I met up with a guy in town who had a 924S with M030 option.
It shows up in PET too, I believe.
So it is possible, just not very common. _________________ 1987 924S SPEC car

Yeah, what keith said. The '88 924S SE came with the M030 package, which includes the coilovers. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

The PET shows them as M30 with 944 part numbers.....
944.343.051.00 and 052.00
US Retail price new (each):
SHOCK ABSORBER/STRUT $891.89
And that does not include the spring or mount. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

I was in Phoenix today and picked up those M030 struts Keith mentioned. Jeff had them powder-coated yellow, included new Koni adjustable inserts and the knobs. I'm selling the springs if anybody is interested in those. Jeff took these off of his '88 924S SE.
