I write this as I am in hospital recovering. My beautiful 924 met its maker the other night. Greasy roads and a whole lot of under steer meant it slammed into the railing that stopped it from free falling down a couple hundred feet.
I'm sad and angry and annoyed. All the hours put into my machine and it was looking good and revving well.
It's now a written off wreck
RIP my little buddie.... You won't be forgotten (well at least not until I get my second 924 or even 944!!!)
Signing off a very sore but lucky person
Peace a _________________ 1981 Porsche 924 2.0 NA |

I'm very sorry to hear this...this is never fun.
Heal up.....buy back the wreck and start planning your next car.
Or maybe a 944 Turbo is in your future.... _________________ 1981 931 (Canadian car)

Glad you are OK. That is what is really important. Yes start looking for the next car as you heal and get back to full strength. _________________ Cheers;

| It's really sad to lose the car,; as everyone expresses above, and what's important is that you were not seriously injured. -- Nevertheless, you still get to keep the knowledge and experience of both what you've put into your 924 and what the limits are of the driveability of these cars. |

That's sad, but... The most important part in porsche is his driver. Everything else can be repaired or replaced. Hope you'll find another one to bring you good emotions. _________________ WBR, Shurick
