Shaggy has developed an odd miss. It only happens in the rain, and it cuts out under load. Afm spikes at these times so it seems like fuel delivery. Checked fuel pump wiring this morning, everything was beautiful and shiny, and even rubber boots were in tact and supple.

I've been chasing this problem with my car for a couple three weeks. Haven't had much rain in two months, so no comparison there. I had gunk break up in the fuel tank, and feel it has been clogging injectors. My AFR needle would spike as well. I installed a fuel filter before the pump instead of the intank sock system. Miss is mostly gone, just intermittent. If this is your problem, gunk will take out the fuel pump. Happened for me, mostly at steady throttle. Weird. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

Found the problem. . .what I would call medium wear on cap & rotor combined with moisture. Not sure how it got in there. Maybe the cap wasn't seated all the way.
Running much better, but hasn't rained since the swap! _________________ Toofah King Bad
