Fail to see how it can be a bad idea, that throat is seriously restricted ! Do all US n/a have that ? cos my euro one sure didn't. Mind you it now has an Audi throttle body with even larger bores, and it does feel more lively.  _________________ 1983 N/A

I think originally thy put it in for emissions controls to bring the A/F ration down to reduce CO output. Maybe by removing and cranking it up we may get a quicker throttle responds... sigh,.. I dunno...
Anyone actually done this on an NA?
I am also thinking of getting that larger throttle body from the sciccero (?) and putting it on there. |
