| changed most of the vacuum hoses on the 1980 s1 I picked up. car runs well...but did notice that it has a bit of an oscillating idle when warm. was thinking leaky injectors or bad injector pattern...leaky cold start valve. any thoughts? |

Don't forget leaking throttle body shafts. _________________ Stefan

Don't discount an air leak issue completely which will affect idle and if only a small leak will not be noticed when driving. TB and idle screw O rings? All vacuum hoses and elbows? _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

| thanks guys. I think there are a couple of hoses I missed...and I certainly didn't think of those tiny o-rings at the throttle body. More work to do! will have to wait as I get #99 turbo to the media blaster and then body shop. check out my updates on that car in another post. |
