I need help- I have a 82 base 924 that was not running when I bought it. I found the dist. was bad, so I rebuilt it with a kit. I have spark from the coil but not to the cylinders. Can it be the igintion module?

I had spark at one time after the rebuid so I believe it to be rebuilt properly. It had weak spark after and I had the timing set wrong but ran, just very poorly so during the process to correct the timing I found no spark past the coil. I replaced the rotor and the cap already.

Any ideas on where to look?

The spark at the coil says the ignition system is working but the dissy is not distributing to the plugs.
check the rotor is turning and the plugs and ignition timing is correct and leads are in the correct order.

I was having that same problem and it was my Ignition Control Module.

Do you have spark at the coil?
NO? It could be the sensor in the dissy or the ign module.

Thanks guys- I checked the rotor and it is turning, verifed the plug wires at least 10 times (really hoping this be the case) and also checked TDC and made sure everything was all lined up.

I think it is the module also now that I have a cooler head...and will replace that, I will let the group know what I find out.

I ordered a module as everything else checks out, I will let the group know what I find out as soon as it comes in.
