I drove my car to the gym yesterday day. Ran great on the way, ran poorly about the first half of the way back home. I have zero time to tune it because I am working 125 miles from home four days a week. I'm thinking it's a fuel issue it backfires and stalls at wot and even 3/4 throttle. Maybe running lean?

Try replacing he fuel pump relay. That's an easy thing to try if you have very little time.
