Since my silver paint is terrible fargone, I have decided to repaint. And furthermore, with the "$50 Rustoleum roller method".
I hate to cange the original color (rustoleum does have an "aluminum"color) but I worry the metallic component will be blotchy.
Sooo....I believe I am going to do the dark red, it looks similar to later Porsche "Carmine Red".
I wonder if I should so the sills, etc? How far in should I go? Ill never get everthing silver. Should I just stick stricy to the shown exteior?
On a 1974 Super Carerra 911 I wouldnt be asking this question, obviously. But all said and done, it is a $3000 daily drive I just want to look nice.
Thoughts?

I'm going with a deep dark cherry red, roller or spray can, not sure yet. Have some body filler work yet to do. _________________ '83 944 Track car.

| Let me know how it goes, if it goes well for you I'll for sure consider using that method to repaint mine. |

Ill of course do some sort of thread to detail the issues and successes, lessons learned, etc.
I have used Plasti dip for lots of little stuff, but never a full car. I like gloss paint!
Gren, that would be pretty cool indeed! Twins!
