There is a metal bracket under the charge tube on 931 engine. It is bolted to the intake manifold but it supports nothing and nothing connects or hangs on to it. What is it for? For lifting the engine? Looks pretty much useless to me. _________________ Mikko

yes, that is what it's for. I've seen two on cars, one small roundish bracket in the back, and a larger one near the front. Both bolted to the intake manifold of course. _________________ '83 944 Track car.
